Ideas on paper

Ideas on Paper was founded in 1996 by the photographers Theo Baart and Cary Markerink as a tool to realise photographic projects. This has resulted in a series of books accompanied by parallel exhibitions, most often in collaboration with other institutions.

NAi publishers (www.naipublishers.nl) in Rotterdam is a regular partner in the publishing and distribution of the I.O.P. books.

Some of the publications are out-of-print and can only be obtained through antiquarian booksellers like Antiquarian Bookshop van Paddenburgh in Leiden.
